We Vestiges is a 502 psychological thriller by director Inri Andromias. It centers around an island that has been surrounded by fog for months on end. No ships have arrived at its ports, and no communications have gone through. One by one, the island's people disappears until there are only twenty left, scattered around the island. The fog then lifts, and the movie ends with a shot of one the remaining people dissolving into dust in the sunlight.

While many professional critics hailed the movie as an unequivocal success, others such as the Helmite movie critic and columnist Jaspar Shepley declared that the movie was "a ponderous mess [...] a depiction not of our fears but of our failing imaginations". Audience ratings were lower than critics', by and large, and the film's reception suffered from its seemingly unrelated and inexplicable ending.
