Stars Surround Us is a 422 science fiction novel by Ilesarian Varian Alber that is widely regarded to be the defining work for its genre, although it did not achieve the widespread acclaim of Solar Phase. It tells the story of an alien planet that is described so naturally that it is not until the end of the story, when the protagonists leave their atmosphere for another world, heavily implied to be Unda, that one realizes that the protagonists were never human.

Reception Edit

Stars Surround Us has been widely cited as the defining work of Undan science fiction, although other books did much more to popularize the genre.
